A video released by the Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) highlights the daring "spider web" attack on Russian airbases and the massive damage it caused to those targets.
Ukrainian security services have released more footage of the unprecedented attack on Russian air bases over the weekend.
This gives us, for the first time, a clearer idea of the extent of the damage. It begins at Olenya Air Base above the Arctic Circle, where there appear to have been more than a dozen strikes, most of them targeting the long-range Tu-95 bombers that terrorize Ukrainian cities every night.
Tupolev 22 supersonic bombers were also targeted, and more importantly, Ivanovo Airport houses A-50 early warning aircraft. Russia has very few of these, but it appears to have lost two of them here.
Four strikes appear to have targeted Tu-22 aircraft and what they say is the Diaghilev air base.
