Putin is attacking the fee policy ... separatism that threatens the global economy

 

• Russian President Vladimir Putin has criticized the customs duties policy imposed by US President Donald Trump as harmful to the global economy.
• Putin said Friday at an economic forum in Vladivostok that the fees lead to "regional and national separatism, and nothing good will be achieved from behind such policies for those who practice them." He did not refer to Trump by name.
• He added that Russia is open in its trade and economic policies with foreign partners.
