Shawarmer boycott campaign in Saudi Arabia raises controversy on national companies and Turki Al Sheikh interferes
The intervention of the Counselor Turki Al -Sheikh, head of the Saudi General Entertainment Authority, in the case of "Shawarmer" restaurants raised many questions about his support for the Saudi restaurant after he was subjected to a massive attack campaign and demands in the province against the background of the spread of an appeal from a Saudi employee to the Minister of Labor, claiming that he was expelled from his job from Shawarmer Restaurant in an arbitrary way.
The Al -Sheikh interference in the crisis of the "Shawarmer" restaurant ignited a controversy between those who saw that he supports the national brand and tries to calm the situation, and who accused him of bias for the restaurant.
This controversy coincides with the announcement of the Saudi "Hambartin" chain of its bankruptcy due to a harsh boycott campaign that was subjected to a poisoning incident in one of the previous restaurant branches.
